Musajo Memorial Medalists

Prof. Luigi Musajo, who taught and researched at the University of Padova, was one of the pioneers in tryptophan research and also one of the founders of ISTRY. In memory of Prof Musajo, the Musajo Memorial Medal was established in 1995 at the proceedings of the 8th ISTRY meeting in Padova, Italy (Musajo’s birthplace) to motivate future scientists in carrying on the legacy of Musajo’s work.

During each proceeding of the ISTRY Meeting, one distinguished scientist will be awarded the Musajo Memorial Medal that recognizes their outstanding lifetime professional contribution to tryptophan field or related areas by means of scientific research and beyond.
